Where can I buy Ruapehu Brewing beer?

Our beer is stocked right across Ohakune and the Ruapehu district — in supermarkets like New World Ohakune, at Liquorland and local bottle stores, and on tap in bars around town. See the full list on our stockists page. We also deliver NZ-wide through our online shop.

Do you deliver? Can I order beer online?

Yes. We ship our cans NZ-wide from our online store, with free shipping on orders over $80.

Where is the brewery?

Ruapehu Brewing Co. is at Rear Unit, 27 Goldfinch Street, Ohakune 4625 — at the foot of Mt Ruapehu in the central North Island.

Is the cellar door open?

The cellar door is currently closed while we're away. It will reopen on our return — follow us on Instagram or Facebook for the date. In the meantime, you'll find our beer at stockists across the district.

What beers do you make?

Our year-round core range is Lawnmower (hoppy lager), Weedcore (NZ IPA), Unlimited Vis (hazy IPA), Mr Robinson (amber ale) and Lord of Darkness (stout). We also brew rotating 440ml limited releases. Our Unlimited Vis Hazy IPA was named in the Top 30 at the 2023 New World Beer & Cider Awards.

Are your beers available in supermarkets?

Yes — you'll find our cans at New World Ohakune and other stockists around Ohakune and the Ruapehu district.

Are your beers unfiltered and unpasteurised?

Yes. Our beers are unpasteurised and unfiltered, so keep them cold and enjoy them fresh.

Do you run brewery tours?

Not at the moment — tours are paused while we're away. Get in touch via our contact page and we'll let you know when they're back.
